Get baptized

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision that has taken place in our lives after we have placed our faith and trust in Jesus. When you choose to get baptized, you are declaring to the world that you’ve trusted Jesus, joined God’s family, and made a commitment to follow Him. When we are immersed in the water, it symbolizes that our old self has died with Christ. You are then raised out of the water to new life lived in light of Christ’s resurrection (Rom. 6:4). Although baptism does not save you, saved people are commanded by God’s Word to be baptized (Matt. 28:19).
